Violist, conductor, arranger, and devoted pedagogue, Dr. Christopher Luther has established himself as a gifted performer and teacher through his diverse musical background and ability to reach and inspire youth. As a performer, Dr. Luther has been a featured soloist on National Public Radio, and KUSC, along with televised performances on PBS. Within the last year, and outside of the USA, Dr. Luther has performed and given master classes in Mexico, Taiwan, Germany and Austria. Other areas of expertise include alternative styles and improvisation, health and wellness for musicians, along with entrepreneurship. Full and part-time academic positions have included Pepperdine University in California, and the University of Northern Colorado. Roger Myers and Donald McInnes were his principal viola teachers.
