My teacher is Michael Darnton in Chicago, a well respected and experienced luthier.
With my graphic background of design and illustration, I design my own models with shorter string length and preferred C-bout sizef or comfort.
I also copy existing good models such as:
Guarneri, Da Salo, Guadagnini, Iizuka, Banks and Amati.
I design flyers, logos, etc.
